Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 11 May 2026
You can ask Galgo.ai (operated by Galgomedia) to delete the personal data we hold about you. This page explains how to make that request and what happens after we receive it.
1. What “your data” means
When you sign in to Galgo.ai, or when an organisation that uses Galgo.ai connects an ad-platform account through which we receive information about you, we may hold:
- your account profile (name, email, role) inside an organisation;
- session and audit-log entries tied to your user identifier;
- OAuth tokens (encrypted at rest) that authorise Galgo.ai to act on behalf of an ad account or marketing platform you connected;
- marketing performance data the platform sent us while the connection was active (campaigns, ad creative, impressions, clicks, spend, conversions);
- hashed identifiers (e.g. SHA-256 of email or phone number) used for attribution and Conversions API delivery — never plaintext end-customer identifiers.
2. How to request deletion
Send an email to galcivar@galgomedia.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request and include:
- the email address you used to sign in to Galgo.ai;
- if you are asking us to delete data we received via a connected platform (for example Meta or Google), the name of the brand or organisation in Galgo.ai under which the connection lives, and the ad-account or page identifier the request relates to;
- a brief statement confirming that you are the person to whom the data relates, or are otherwise authorised to make the request.
We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on the request, to protect you against impersonation.
3. What happens after you ask
- We acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
- We complete deletion within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request (longer where law requires us to retain certain records — see “Exceptions” below).
- We delete or irreversibly anonymise the data described in section 1 from our production systems and propagate the deletion to backups in the ordinary course of their rotation.
- We disconnect any related OAuth tokens so the Service stops receiving new data from the platforms involved. You can also disconnect a platform yourself from inside the brand settings.
- We confirm completion to the email address that made the request.
4. Self-service options inside the Service
- Disconnect a platform. In the brand settings, choose the connected platform and click Disconnect. This clears the stored OAuth tokens and stops further sync.
- Reset agent memory for a brand. Brand owners can wipe the per-brand AI memory at any time from the brand settings page.
- Archive a brand. Brand owners and organisation admins can archive a brand from the brand settings page; archived brands stop appearing in lists and stop receiving new data.
- Delete the whole organisation. Email us — there is no in-app delete-organisation button today, by design.
5. Exceptions
We may retain a minimum amount of data after a deletion request where we are required or permitted to do so by law — for example, accounting and tax records, audit trails of security incidents, and records needed to defend legal claims. We retain these only for as long as the relevant obligation requires.
6. Platform-specific notes
When you ask us to delete data we received from a third-party marketing platform (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Shopify, HubSpot, and others), the deletion only applies to copies held inside Galgo.ai. The originating platform retains its own copy under its own privacy policy; you can use the controls inside that platform to delete data there.
7. Questions
Email galcivar@galgomedia.com and we will help. For more on how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
